urine on a spica cast?
my son slept through the night for the second time in his life, unfortunately he’s in a spica cast, and I slept through the night as well. he managed to get urine inside the back side of the cast, and I don’t know what I should do. it’s wet so I put a chux pad in there so it’s not against his skin, but now I don’t know how to clean it. I know I can dry it with a hair dryer, but I don’t know what to do about the smell. i can use baking soda on the outside, but what do I do to the inside?
Call his doctor maybe he can change the cast .
